Intellect Must Serve the People

--- Kevin Walsh, Editor of EASPF

Let us contrast hypothetical Citizen A and Citizen B. Citizen A has an IQ of 160 but uses that intellect for no contructive purpose to society, only to swindle and cheat people (at which he is very skilled). Citizen B has an IQ of 90, but works very hard at such simple work that he is capable of doing. Which citizen is more valuable to society? Society is clearly better served by Citizen B. I met plenty of dull-witted people when I was in prison, but I also met a few very smart people. One was doing 25 years for multiple fraud counts.  Another was doing 35 years for identity theft in connection with his theft of a helicopter.

I don't agree with liberal posers who pretend to be socialists that there is any virtue in stupidity or that eugenics is alien to the spirit of socialism. That which is eugenic and that which is dysgenic, however, is not as simple as IQ score and social status. If IQ can be inherited, so can ethical tendencies and ability to be properly socialized. Indeed, whatever criticisms of Jews I often hear, they are seldom criticized for being stupid, only for using their intellects to the detriment of society. It also may very well be true that people who have been bourgeois or feudal nobles may have reached there (or their ancestors reached that status) because they inherited superior intelligence to
that of the rest of the population. This is often used by reactionaries to justify any antisocial behavior by these classes or any oppression of workers and peasants. People who rise in rank by betrayal and oppression, however, are not serving society, and getting rid of such people is eugenic, not dysgenic, for encouraging such behavior and allowing such people to multiply, weakens the bonds of society.

The Romanovs and the nobles who supported them may have been more intelligent than the average Russian peasant, but they used their intellect for purposes that were destructive to the nation. It was therefore eugenic, rather than dysgenic, that the Bolsheviks removed them from the gene-pool. The Yugoslav bourgeois elements who collaborated with the German invasion may likewise have had more intelligence than the average Serbian peasant, but their elimination from Yugoslav society was likewise eugenic, rather than dysgenic. People who would betray their whole country cannot possibly be a benefit to their country.
